" ....Year after year, global and national surveys report sexual harassment of women at the workplace as a risk to industry. Even, almost after a decade of POSH Act-2013, numbers of sexual harassment complaints are still rising, due to poor implementation & understanding of Act by organizations and individuals...."

An Act which was passed by Indian Parliament to protect women from sexual harassment at work place and to provide justice to victims ; is yet to attract the attention it deserves. Complaints continued under PoSH during COVID too!
Even "that look "of a male colleague at a work place which makes a woman feel uncomfortable and is UNWELCOMED! by her is sexual harassment. We have the law for prevention , prohibition & redressal of sexual harassment of women at workplace but due to poor implementation and awareness on the PoSH Act-2013, women still experience sexual harassment which leaves them mentally harassed, disturbed and discouraged .
Sexual harassment is a punishable offence. Non Compliance by the male workforce can lead to job termination , whereas for the organizations- the employer can also lose its license to operate the business.
